Biography:

Han Solo, a Corellian smuggler and captain of the Millennium Falcon, found himself encased in carbonite due to a treacherous double-cross by his associate, Lando Calrissian.

This drastic measure was orchestrated by Darth Vader in an attempt to lure Luke Skywalker into a trap on Bespin's Cloud City. Vader intended to freeze Skywalker in carbonite, but tested the process on Solo first, risking his death in the process.

Solo's carbonite-encased form was subsequently delivered to the bounty hunter Boba Fett, who then transported him to Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine. Jabba proudly displayed Solo as a trophy in his palace.

Eventually, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Lando Calrissian, and Chewbacca orchestrated a daring rescue mission. Leia, disguised as a bounty hunter, unfroze Han, freeing him from his carbonite prison. The experience left him temporarily blinded but ultimately unharmed, allowing him to rejoin the Rebel Alliance and continue fighting against the Galactic Empire.
